Terms of service

These terms apply when you use peakleaf.com.au or buy from Peak Leaf (ABN 22 897 313 739, "we", "us"). Our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy are part of these terms.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation email.

We may cancel an order and refund you in full if:

the price or description on the website was clearly wrong
the plant has declined before dispatch and we don't think it's fit to send
we can't deliver to your address

If we cancel your order, we'll email you to explain why.

Plants and photos

Plants are living things. They keep growing between when we list them and when they arrive, so leaf count, size and colour can differ a little from the photos.

Our listings say whether a photo shows the exact plant you'll receive or a representative plant.

Variegation can change as a plant grows. We sell each plant as described when you buy it, and we can't promise how future leaves will look.

Many aroids, including Alocasia, Anthurium, Monstera and Philodendron, are toxic if chewed or eaten. Keep them away from pets and children.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars, and shipping is added at checkout. We take payment when you place your order. We can change prices at any time, but not for an order we've already accepted.

Shipping and biosecurity

We only ship to the states listed in our Shipping policy. Please don't use a parcel forwarding service or another address to get a plant from us into Western Australia, Tasmania or the Northern Territory. If you move a plant interstate yourself, you're responsible for meeting that state's biosecurity rules.

Accounts and emails

If you create an account, keep your login details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

If you sign up for our emails, we'll send opening news and new plant listings. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Website content

The photos, text and branding on this website belong to Peak Leaf or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without asking us.

Things outside our control

We're not responsible for delays caused by events we can't reasonably control, such as carrier delays, extreme weather or natural disasters. If one affects your order, we'll let you know and work out the best option with you, including a refund if you'd prefer. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
